As a young kid growing up on the east bench of the Salt Lake Valley, I remember watching airliners on their afternoon approaches to Salt Lake International, silhouetted against the sunset. Anytime a plane flew overhead, I stopped to look up—a habit I still haven't broken. While my early college years were focused on music education and my career path led into public sector HR, aviation remained a constant interest that always felt economically just out of reach.

That changed in the fall of 2020. An afternoon in Microsoft Flight Simulator reignited the spark, prompting me to reach out to a friend flying 737s for United, who pointed me toward local flight training. I took my discovery flight on January 14, 2021, and committed fully to the process: earning my Private Pilot certificate in April, Instrument rating in July, and Commercial Multi-Engine rating in November of that same year. I added my Commercial Single-Engine rating and CFI credential in 2022, instructed actively at Randon Aviation for nearly three years, and added my CFII certification in July 2026.

Primary Objective: Transitioning primary career focus and income stream into full-time aviation operations.

Combining 20 years of public administration and HR management experience with over 1,500 flight hours, I bring a mature, safety-oriented perspective to professional flight operations. My time as an active CFII has built a deep respect for SOPs, CRM, and continuous training. I am open to any commercial avenue—airline, corporate, charter, or specialized flight operations—where I can deliver disciplined, reliable performance in the cockpit.
